Hi there.

I’m Gökhan.

A methodologist and a computational social scientist by training, I have 17 years of experience working in tech, open-source software development, and applied research.

In 2024, I founded Cogentis to work independently at the intersection of industry and academia.

My academic expertise stems from doing a PhD at the London School of Economics. I still maintain ongoing connections to its cutting-edge research and scientific community as a Visiting Senior Fellow at the LSE Data Science Institute.

  • Working alongside the CTO, I drove organisational disruption and innovation at Superside, particularly within the service business. My primary focus was on crafting and executing the AI & ML strategy that fuelled new business opportunities and revenue streams.

I led the charge in pioneering novel AI & ML solutions that expanded our product and service portfolios, especially in text-to-image ads space. With autonomy, I explored and defined new business domains where AI & ML can provide a decisive competitive edge.
